🎧 My Ultimate Stimmy Bops 🎧

A personal playlist powered by dopamine and happy flappy vibes

Some people have playlists for working out. Some have playlists for breakups. Me? I have stimmy bops — songs that make my brain fizz in the best way possible. The ones I can’t listen to just once. The ones that make me move without even thinking.

So here it is. A lovingly chaotic list of the songs that make me stim, sparkle, and sing like no one’s watching (except Myron, and he’s used to it by now).

🌀 1. Video Killed the Radio Star – The Buggles

This is my current hyperfixation anthem. The synths? The vibe? The nostalgia?? I’m flapping, bouncing, mouthing the words like my life depends on it. If dopamine had a theme song, this would be it.

🌀 2. Reach – S Club 7

An instant mood-lifter. The kind of song that gets me pointing dramatically at the ceiling and doing a little wiggle in my seat. Justice for this being a top-tier stimmy bop.

🌀 3. Good Time – Carly Rae Jepsen & Owl City

Tell me it’s gonna be a good time without telling me. Instant grin. Instant bounce. I don’t just hear this song — I experience it with every limb.

🌀 4. Ways to Be Wicked – Descendants Cast

This one brings out the full dramatic hands and chaotic lip-syncing. I am the villain. I am the moment. Daisy Carter would 100% approve.

🌀 5. Girls Just Wanna Have Fun – Cyndi Lauper

A timeless bop. Feels like rainbow legwarmers, jelly shoes, and yelling “yaaaaas” with your whole body. That chorus hits and I’m gone.

💿 Honourable Mentions:

  • Firework – Katy Perry
  • Bring It All Back – S Club 7
  • Cheesy Chips (in spirit)
  • Literally anything from the Barbie Dreamhouse soundtrack

What about you — got stimmy bops of your own? Drop them in the comments or come flap with me.

Daisy’s Corner 🎤

“Stimmy bops?” she says, while dancing around Amber’s flat in mismatched socks.
“Babes, if you’re not flapping to Radio Star, are you even living?” Then she demands the aux cord and plays Spice Up Your Life at full volume. Obviously.
