✍️ Why I Still Write

I don’t write for bestseller lists.
I don’t write to chase trends, algorithms, or royalties that barely cover a coffee.

I write because there are stories in me that need to come out.
Because sometimes my head is too loud until I let my characters speak.
Because Amber, Jonas, and Daisy feel more real to me than most things in the world.

I write because 14-year-old me needed someone like Daisy.
Because 18-year-old me didn’t think she’d ever feel seen.
Because autistic girls deserve messy, joyful, chaotic representation — with a pop soundtrack and MSN drama, thank you very much.

Most of all, I write for me…
… and for the one person who reads, who feels it, who messages me and says, “I get it.”

That’s enough.
That’s everything.
